How do I display the app icon as a widget?

If you’d like to display the app icon, and open the app instead of a specific barcode, you can do so by configuring a Single Card widget like below. Add a Single Card widget to your Home Screen and then hold down on the widget to edit it. Tap the card selection, where it says “Choose” or the name of a card, and tap “[Open Barcodes app]” instead. This will show the app icon as shown in the last screenshot!
